Whilst running is the prime focus of the club, we do believe in having fun! We've been on pub visits, dined out in some great restaurants plus organised trips for wine tastings, greyhound racing and much, much more. Occasionally, we run with one of our members on their favourite routes - and usually enjoy some fine post-run hospitality.
The club has a vibrant social section and organises a number of events during the year including a Christmas Dinner, an Awards Dinner – traditionally held shortly after the London Marathon – and a Summer Barbecue.
Our Christmas Dinner usually features an extra spice. The club is currently awarded two guaranteed places in the London Marathon and these places are drawn out of the hat for those who were unsuccessful in the London Marathon ballot.
The club also stages two club races each year – a Summer Handicap and a Christmas Handicap.
